Devendra Fadnavis and Prithviraj Chavan in a war of words over demonetisation

Against the backdrop of the two contrarian commemorations of demonetisation day – November 8 (anti-black day by BJP and black day by the opposition), Nation Next spoke to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Congress’ senior leader and the former Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan on the issue.

Equipped with statistics, at a media interaction at his official residence in Nagpur, Fadnavis vehemently defended demonetisation, claiming that under Modi’s leadership, India has become the fastest growing economy in the last three years. Chavan, on the other hand, in an exclusive interview with Nation Next, accused the BJP of taking people for a ride.
