Differently-abled children showcase their creative side during ‘Talent Show’ in Nagpur

Differently abled and underprivileged students of Karna Badhir Vidyalaya, Mati Mand Vidyalaya and Muk Badhir Vidyalaya put their best foot forward to showcase their skills and flair at ‘Talent Show.’ The show was organised by the members of Nagpur Mahila Club at Persistent Hall (IT Park) in Nagpur.

Anita Bose, secretary of Nagpur Mahila Club, said, “These events serve as great platforms as they provide opportunities for differently-abled kids to mix up with other people so that they do not feel left out.” Several handicapped and mentally challenged students gave amazing dance and singing performances. Apart from these, there were also some who demonstrated incredibly impressive yoga asanas too.

Sub-inspector of Nagpur, Preeti Daudalwar, who was the Chief Guest at the event, shared her life story and motivated one and all present. She said, “I’m short of words as it’s difficult for me to express my feelings. It was an excellent show.” The guest of honour Rajshree Mandlekar and Dr Sarita Milind Mane graced the event with their eminent presence.

While Vilansini Nair (President), Dr Premlata Tiwari (Vice president), Anita Bose, Bharti Disawal and Neelam Shukla co-ordinated the event, Dr Rupinder Kaur Chhatwal spearheaded it. Nagpur Mahila Club has been organising several projects where in they assist orphanages, provide materials to rural schools, etc.
