Ten fire brigade tenders douse major fire at Skipper Furnishing showroom near Bajaj Nagar square

Yesterday night at around 11:30 pm, a major fire broke out at the Skipper Furnishing showroom situated near Bajaj Nagar Square, Nagpur.

→ A major fire mishap took place yesterday night around 11:30 pm at Skipper Furnishing showroom near Bajaj Nagar Square, Nagpur.

→ It took ten fire brigade tenders (from Narendra Nagar, Lakadganj Cotton Market and Civil Lines) and two hours to douse the massive fire completely.

→ While the exact cause of the fire is still unknown the police are of the opinion that curtains, foams and other furnishing items at the showroom may be the reason behind the escalation of fire.

→ Though by the look of the showroom today morning, it seems that there must have been heavy financial loss, fortunately no person was harmed in the fire at the showroom which is in a building where some people also reside.

→ When Nation Next correspondent reached the spot yesterday night and tried to speak to the owners of Skipper Furnishing – Sanjeev and Ritu Nahar – who were also present at the spot, they said that they were not in a state of mind to talk.

→ PI Kailash Kuthe of Bajaj Nagar Police Station is investigating the case and trying to find out the exact reason behind the fire.
