LAD College all set to tickle Nagpurians’ taste buds with Mexican Street food fest

This winter season, the Hotel Management and Catering Department of LAD College, is back with Mexican Street food fest, (Mexican theme based fest) to rejoice Mexican food lovers in the city. It will be held on December 18, 2016 at Basketball Ground, LAD College, Seminary Hills from 7pm to 10pm.

Twenty final year students of LAD College, Nagpur,would be preparing around 20 Mexican dishes. Not just food, one can enjoy some amazing Mexican dance performances too. LAD’s primary reason for celebrating Mexican culture is to promote overseas multi cuisines in the city.

When Nation Next, the online media partner for Mexican Street, spoke to Tanushree Chouriya, decor manager, about the Mexican styled décor, she said, “We are decorating the venue in a Mexican style. We used different papers balls, thermocol sheets and ribbons to make the décor look colourful. We are also planning to design our food counter in Mexican style. Also, we intend to design a Mexican themed backdrop, where our guests can click selfies!”

When Nation Next spoke to Dolly Singh, General Manager for Mexican Street, she said, “We are expecting a crowd of 700 to 1000 people for the fest. Basically, we are targeting youngsters and food enthusiasts of the city. This event is like a dream project for us, where we are getting a chance to showcase our talent. My batch mates and me have been working round the clock for more than two months.We are looking forward for a great event!”

Entry tickets for guests are available at select restaurants –Toast, Carnations, Kathi Crossing, Fuel Headquarters, etc. Entry fee will be Rs 300 per head with unlimited food.
