MP BJP leader arrested for running a sex racket in Bhopal

Madhya Pradesh cyber cell last week on late Thursday, arrested a MP BJP leader along with eight others for running a sex racket in Bhopal. After the arrest, the BJP leader Neeraj Shakya (33), who was the state media coordinator for scheduled caste cell, was expelled from MP Bhartiya Janta Party unit. Those arrested along with Neeraj include, Dinesh Singh, Suresh Gahlot, Ravi Prajapati, Harjit Dhanwani, Manoj Kumar Gupta, KK Jaiswal, Suresh Belani and Miswauddin.

According to the police, Neeraj and other arrested men would track girls through different human resource websites, contact them, assure them jobs in Bhopal and then push them into prostitution. The police also said that it was keeping a tab on the matter for the last few months after they got inputs about a sex racket being run through an online portal.
