7,000 Nagpurians walk for a healthier life at Rotary-Arneja Walkathon

When The Nagpur Rotary-Arneja Walkathon and Dream Run 2018 was organised recently, more than 7,000 fitness enthusiasts turned up at the event to make it a huge hit. The motto of the walkathon, which was jointly organised by Rotary Club of Nagpur and Arneja Heart and Multispeciality Hospital, was ‘Walk for Life.’

The even kick started from Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis’ official residence – Ramgiri – at Civil Lines at 6am. Present at event were Dr Jaspal Arneja’s father Bhupinder Singh Arneja, DRM SERC Amit Agrawal, Rotary Club President Rina Sinha and several other club members. At the conclusion of the event, winners and runners-up from different walk (3km, 5km and 10km) and run (5km and 10km) categories were rewarded with prizes and certificates.
