60 Seconds Story: Naivedhyam Restaurant’s cashier robbed of Rs 95,000

Naivedhyam Restaurant’s cashier Vijay Nagale (34) was looted by a masked man near Rani Jhansi Square, Nagpur on Wednesday night at 11:55 pm.

→ Naivedhyam Restaurant’s cashier Vijay Nagale (34), a resident of Narendra Nagar, Nagpur, was looted by a masked man near Rani Jhansi Square on Wednesday night at 11:55 pm.

→ Vijay who has been working as a cashier at Naivedyam Restaurant from more than six years on Wednesday night wrapped up all his work, closed the restaurant and left for the restaurant’s owner Shreyans Kamdar’s home at Ramdaspeth. Vijay accompanied by the hotel manager Rajesh Pillai was going at Kamdar’s home to give the restaurant keys and Rs 95,000 cash.

→ Just as Rajesh was starting his two-wheeler, a masked man threw chili powder on Vijay, punched him and snatched the bag full of cash from Vijay and immediately fled the spot.

→ Right after the incident, Vijay immediately approached Dhantoli police station where API Munde registered the case. API KN Gaddime is investigating the case wherein the unidentified man has been charged under the Section 392 (Robbery) of the IPC.

→ While speaking to Nation Next, API Gaddime said that the robbery seems well planned and somebody from the restaurant staff may be involved. However, he also said that Shreyans Kamdar is in complete support of his staff whom he trusts a lot.
