Senior leader Narayan Rane slammed the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis by asking him to stop testing the former’s patience. Rane revealed to a leading daily that Fadnavis should induct him in the Maharashtra state cabinet at the earliest before his (Rane’s) patience runs out. Rane, who quit the Congress in 2017 and floated his own party Maharashtra Swabhiman Paksh, joined National Democratic Alliance (NDA) after he was assured of a cabinet berth.

Rane also said that he’d be meeting Fadnavis to discuss various important issues. While Rane expressed his disapproval on a proposed refinery by the Centre in Ratnagiri by saying that refinery would destroy the flora and fauna on Konkan and its marine life, Fadnavis claimed that it wouldn’t cause pollution.

While addressing a press conference in his Mumbai office, Rane said that Fadnavis should take a decision soon before he runs out of patience.
