Salman Khan will be in Nagpur on January 6, 2017, to inaugurate the 'Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav' at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan will be in Nagpur on January 6, 2017, to inaugurate the ‘Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav’ at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education. Salman’s last visit to Nagpur was exactly three years back when he visited the city on January 5, 2014, for the promotions of his film Jai Ho.

The festival will have series of different functions, which will go on till January 28. On January 6 and January 7, singers Sudesh Bhosle and Abhijeet Bhattacharya will enthrall the audience with their performances.

The rest of functions, which includes a performance by none other than actress Hema Malini, will take place at the newly-built Suresh Bhat auditorium in Reshimbagh, Nagpur.

Here’s the itinerary of programmes to be held at Bhat auditorium:

January 11: A lecture on Swantantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar by Dr Sacchidanand Shevde

January 12: A lecture relating by Mukul Kanitkar

January 13: A session by Gaur Gopal Das from ISKCON

January 14: A musical evening by Rahul Deshpande

January 15: Saptkhanjiri recital and Bhajans by Satyapal Maharaj

January 20: ‘Chanakya’ – A Hindi play by actor Manoj Joshi

January 23: ‘Ek Ratra Nilya Pakhrachi’ – A musical evening

January 27: One act play by Shekhar Sen on poet Kabir

January 28: ‘Draupadi’ – A dance recital by Hema Malini
