Bollywood hunk Salman Khan recently recorded his first ever Marathi song ‘Gachi’ for actor-director Mahesh Majrekar’s upcoming film FU – Friendship Unlimited starring Sairat actor Akash Thosar. While Salman has, in the past, sung several Bollywood tracks, what’s special about Gachi, apart from the fact that it’s Salman’s first Marathi song, is that the macho actor sung the song in just 45 minutes!

The movie’s music composer Vishal Mehra revealed that Salman heard the song so many times that he picked it up very quickly. He also revealed that an auto-tuner was used for all the 16 songs he composed and the tuner was used for Salman’s song to enhance the edge of the song.

Unfortunately, Salman had to re-record the song as Manjrekar was not very pleased with the recorded song. He felt that a few Marathi words sounded wrong. When Vishal approached Salman to re-record the song, Bhai gracefully agreed.
