Sunil Narine smashes fastest IPL fifty against Royal Challengers Bangalore

Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Sunil Narine today made the fastest IPL fifty against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Kolkata Knight Riders opening batsman Sunil Narine today made the fastest IPL fifty against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The 46th match of IPL 2017 was won by KKR by six wickets. By smashing the half century in just 15 balls, which comprised of six fours and four sixes, Narine has joined his teammate Yusuf Pathan in sharing the record for fastest fifty in IPL. Pathan made 50 runs off 15 balls in 2014 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and chose to field first. RCB, with a help of a half century by Mandeep Singh could accumulate 158 runs in 20 overs by losing six wickets. KKR won the match as it achieved the target in just 15.1 overs with six wickets in hand. Apart from Narine, Chris Lynn also made a half century for KKR.
