In an attempt to connect with maximum people, NCP leader Supriya Sule will start blogging twice a month on crucial issues starting from today (on the eve of Makar Sankranti). It has been said that after losing the 2014 elections, the NCP has decided to make its presence felt on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
Supriya is said to use the social media platform as a means to convey her opinions at length. Sule’s close aid said that with only 15 months to go for the next Lok Sabha elections, she’s decided to increase her presence on various media platforms.
He also added, “Her blog posts would include her detailed interpretations of political and social issues. Also, she’s been articulating her thoughts in the Lok Sabha, for which she’s got an overwhelming response. These blog posts will help her interact with public on a regular basis. That’s why Supriya decided to pen down her thoughts every fortnight.”
While no political leader from Maharashtra has been able to ‘consistently’ write a blog on current affairs, Supriya would be the first one to do so. Supriya’s father NCP chief Sharad Pawar too wrote a memoir column for a Marathi newspaper.
