Nagpur based film production house Piyush Pande Films will be launching an original web series ‘Drishtibhram’ in April 2018. The announcement was made by the production house at a recently organised event ‘Making films, Making Change’ at Chitnavis Centre, Nagpur.
At the event, four short films by city filmmakers were screened for the audience and also a discussion was organised on the subject – How Films Can Change Lives. Present at the event to speak on the topic were Rakesh Totla (From Drishyam Films) and city actor Siddharth Jichkar.
The short films, which were screened at the event were Vikrut (by Kushagra Jaiswal), SA (by Aditya Buty) and Train and The Number Plate (by Piyush Pande). Apart from the short films screening, the promo of Buty’s upcoming Marathi film Shatkone starring actor Vikram Gokhale, was also screened.
At the end of the event, the poster of the web-series ‘Drishtibhram’ was launched. Drishtibhram, starring city theatre actor Leonard Naidu, has been produced by Piyush Pande films, directed by Aditya Sharma, written by Ankit Bhuptani, shot by Kaustubh Paralkar and edited by Pawan Piprode. The entire shooting of the web-series will be done in Nagpur itself. Drishtibhram will be a nine-episode series of 10-15 minutes each.
