Yug Pathak, co-owner of Mojo’s Bistro and son of Nagpur’s former Commissioner of Police KK Pathak, was arrested on Saturday in Mumbai in the Kamala Mills Compound fire case. Pathak was the one of the owners of Mojo’s Bistro restaurant along with Nagpur-based businessman Yug Tuli. Pathak’s arrest came after, he long with Tuli was added in the police FIR, which initially had just the names of owners of 1 Above restaurant (Kripesh Sanghvi, Jigar Sanghvi and Abhijeet Mankar) as the accused. Pathak and Tuli have been charged with sections 304, 338 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). While Pathak has been arrested, Tuli and owners of 1 Above are said to be still on the run.

As per reports, an investigation report by Mumbai fire brigade has suggested that the cause of fire in Kamala Mills Compound may have been the coal used in hookah being illegally served at Mojo’s. It was initially being speculated that, the fire started from 1 Above restaurant, where the dead bodies of 14 victims were found.
