10 students arrested in Gujarat for playing PUBG

10 students were arrested on Wednesday by Rajkot Police for playing the hugely popular game PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battle Grounds). The arrests came just a week after the game was banned in several districts of Gujarat last week. All the students were later released on bail.

While six students were arrested near Atmiya College on Kalavad Road, three others were arrested from Raiya crossroads and near Galaxy Cinema. The remaining one student was arrested near Neptune Tower.

Gujarat is the only state in India to ban PUBG, which has been downloaded more than 100 million times around the world.
