Central India’s biggest Agri Expo to commence in Nagpur from November 23

Farmers and agricultural experts will come under one roof during Central India’s biggest Agri Expo – 10th Agrovision, which will start from November 23, 2018 and will go on till November 26, 2018 at Reshimbagh Ground, Nagpur. The details of the agricultural conclave were shared by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at a press conference held recently.

Agrovision, which is a brainchild of Gadkari, was started nine years back with the basic aim of implementing new techniques and improving already existing techniques of farming to give a boost to farm production. A huge agricultural exhibition is also organized every year at the conclave.

During the 10th Agrovision in Nagpur, workshops related to technical information, cotton production, linseed production, natural farming, organic farming, digital payment methods, etc. will be conducted. Moreover, this year,  a one-day conference on dairy milk business, bamboo cultivation and business opportunities in sugarcane production, will also be organized.

Last year, at the agriculture expo, an Animal Expo was organized for the first time and it received an overwhelming response. Keeping that in mind, this year, the organizers are planning to give participation certificates to people who will participate with their livestock. Three best animals will also be awarded.

Several farmers have been benefitted by the old editions of agrovision. Some of these farmers will be sharing their inspiring success stories with fellow farmers.

The 10th Agrovision will be inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari (Chief Patron, Agrovision) and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Gadkari, during the press conference also shared that he has extended an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Agri Expo.
