A 17-year-old boy accused of murder, on Tuesday, was kidnapped and later stoned to death by two staunch criminals near Lava in Nagpur.  The deceased has been identified as Kunal Chachane, a resident of Telangkhedi, Ram Nagar, and the two criminals, who have confessed to the crime, have been identified as Santosh Parteki (32) and his brother Prashant Parteki (34), both residents of Telanhgkhedi. As per the police, while Kunal, in the past, was accused of murder and released because of being a juvenile, Santosh and Prashant were also arrested by Wadi Police in 2014 for murdering a person named Umesh Ingle.

On Tuesday (July 10),  Parteki brothers asked Kunal along with his friend Akash Pal to meet them. The brothers wanted to settle a dispute with a man named James, a friend of Kunal and Akash. The four of them enjoyed alcohol at Kamal bar after which Akash left the bar. Parteki brothers wanted Kunal to call up James. When James did not come to meet, the brothers had a quarrel with Kunal, after which they kidnapped him.

Meanwhile, Kunal’s 20-year-old elder brother Vishal Chachane (also an anti-social), lodged a complaint with Ambazari Police Station accusing the Parteki brothers of kidnapping Kunal. When the Ambazari cops picked up Parteki brothers and questioned them, they confessed that after kidnapping Kunal, they had taken him to an isolated place near Lava and then killed him.

Post this, Ambazari cops along with Wadi Police took Parteki brothers to the crime spot. After conducting the ‘panchnama,’ Kunal’s dead body was sent for post-mortem.
