18-year-old Nagpurian Aelisha Yadav bags ‘Miss India Diva Globe 2018’ title

Nagpur girl Aelisha Yadav made the city proud by winning the title of ‘Miss India Diva Globe’ (Season 3). The beauty pageant, which was organised by Virus films and entertainment, was held in Rajasthan on September 16. A resident of Nandanvan area, Yadav, was selected emerged as winner among 200 participants.

Yadav, while addressing a press conference in Nagpur, said, “It was quite a task to compete with such experienced contestants. But, I’d decided I’d never lose hope and would give my best.”

Yadav started preparing for modeling by following proper diet and exercise from the age of 16. The teenager revealed that Priyanka Chopra and Sushmita Sen were her role models.

When Nation Next asked Yadav about what kept her motivated during the beauty pageant, she quipped, “My teachers and my family were always there to support and motivate me. Mr Taposh Shinde (Fashion Choreographer), Swapnil Moon, Praful (Fashion Photographers) and Mrs Megha Anand contributed a lot to my success. They encouraged me to work harder.”

Previously, Yadav had worked as a theatre artist with ‘Rang Rasiya Theatre’ and claimed that it was then she learnt being disciplined and sincere from her seniors. She was also the first runner up of Miss Vidarbha Queen. She concluded the press conference by saying, “My dream doesn’t end here! I have a lot to achieve.”
