1993 Mumbai serial blasts convict Abdul Gani Turk dies in Nagpur

Abdul Gani Turk, who was found guilty for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, died in Government Medical Hospital in Nagpur on Thursday.

Abdul Gani Turk, who was found guilty in September 2006 by a TADA court for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, died in Government Medical Hospital in Nagpur on Thursday.

In 2017, Abdul Gani Turk was sentenced to death for planting a bomb in Century Bazaar, one of the many places where the blasts took place. Following the verdict, Abdul Gani Turk was lodged at Nagpur Central Jail.
