Coronavirus: 4 new suspects admitted at Nagpur’s GMC today…

Four more Coronavirus suspects – three females and one male – from Nagpur were admitted at Government Medical College (GMC) after they were found to be COVID-19 suspects on March 22. Medical Superintendent at GMC Dr Avinash Gawande confirmed the same with Nation Next. So far total of six suspects have been admitted in ward number 25 of the hospital. Reports of all patients are awaited. Dr Avinash Gawande said, “Out of the four patients who  had tested positive have been kept in GMC and the other patient is kept at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGMC). Rest six have been admitted in GMC as suspects, out of which four are new.” 

 Details of the suspects are below:

A 55-year-old female from Nagpur

Symptoms: Sore throat since eight days

A 43-year-old female from Nagpur

Symptoms: Sore throat since five days

A 34-year-old female from Nagpur

Symptoms: Patient has travel history to USA. She returned to India on March 12 and reached Nagpur on March 13. She has been having a sore throat since two days.

A 54-year-old male from Nagpur

Symptoms: Body ache, cough cold since three days. Patient was at low risk contact with COVID-19 positive who was admitted in AIIMS Raipur.
