In an unfortunate turn of events, a five-month-old baby boy from Gaddigodam, that has emerged as a new containment area in Nagpur, tested positive for COVID-19. The baby became the youngest to test positive for the virus in Nagpur district. The baby along with his family was quarantined on Monday evening.

Ironically, the baby’s elder sister and parents tested negative; the baby is said to have contracted the virus from his maid who had tested positive on May 18. However, on Wednesday, his mother was forcefully admitted with the baby at GMC’s isolation on Wednesday.
