60 seconds story: 51-year-old man brutally murdered near Laxmi Nagar Jain temple

A 51-year-old man was brutally murdered near Laxmi Nagar Jain temple today at around 8 pm in the evening.

→ A 51-year-old man Haridas Shendre, resident of Gopal Nagar, Nagpur,  was murdered near Laxmi Nagar Jain Temple today at around 8 pm in the evening.

→ Haridas used to work as a helper at a Kirana store near Jain Mandir. While returning home from work, he was a attacked by two men with a small yet sharp knife after which the men fled the crime spot.

→ Haridas’s body was immediately taken to CIIMS Hospital by the police where he was declared dead. The body was then sent to Government Medical College for post mortem.

→ Thereafter, an FIR was filed with the Bajaj Nagar Police Station by Prafull Shendre – the son of the deceased. The police seized the weapon and the motorcycle – MH 31 BX 5666.

→ Bajaj Nagar Police have already nabbed the culprits – Gautam aka Golu Ubale and Rupesh Lanjewar, both of whom don’t have any previous criminal records. The motive behind the murder is said to be Haridas’s continuous taunts to Gautam about being unemployed.
