80-year-old man booked for raping 22-year-old relative

In a shocking incident, an 80-year-old man has been booked by Hyderabad Police for raping a 22-year-old girl, who is her relative. The girl was allegedly raped in the first week of April while she was under the influence of alcohol. The girl filed the complaint with the police on May 8.

As per the police, the girl, who belongs to Falaknuma, has recently separated from her husband. The 80-year-old relative offered to help her with arrangements for her stay. Accepting his help, the survivor visited the man’s house in Banjara Hills with her male friend.

Banjara Hills inspector, Kalinga Rao, told a daily: “The victim and her friend were offered alcohol by the accused and he assaulted her sexually when she was under the influence of alcohol.” Shockingly, Rao informed that the accused has also approached the police and filed a complaint against the woman and her male friend accusing them of stealing his expensive watch. The verification of the details of the incident is underway. So far, police have not made any arrests.
