Aamir Khan attends award function after 16 years; gets felicitated by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan broke his record of 16 years by attending a recent award function – Master Dinananth Mangeshkar Awards in Mumbai. As per various reports, the Dangal actor, who was invited by Lata Mangeshkar, apparently couldn’t refuse her so he attended the award function thereby breaking his record. The function was held to commemorate her father’s 75th death anniversary. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat felicitated Aamir with Vishesh Puraskar for his commendable performance in Dangal.

The actor last attended an award ceremony 16 years back at the Academy Awards when Lagaan was nominated in the Best Film category. Aamir Khan will soon be seen in Secret Superstar and is also prepping up for Thugs of Hindostan that also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
