Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan raised the competition bar after the release of his movie PK, starring Anushka Sharma, in 2014. This Rajkumar Hirani directed movie earned a staggering Rs 340 crore in just 17 days!  Aamir has now crossed his own benchmark with the recently released sports biopic Dangal whose collection has crossed Rs 300 crore in just 12 days! With this, Dangal has become the fourth Bollywood movie to enter the much desiderate 300-crore club after Aamir’s film PK and Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, tweeted the big news today about Dangal’s outstanding performance at the domestic box office.

The movie which is receiving rave reviews from every corner was made tax free on January 3, 2017, in the country’s capital New Delhi after being announced tax free in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, New Delhi shared the news on his official twitter account.

The 300 crore club, which is considered to be Bollywood’s most coveted club is now being dominated by Salman’s Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Aamir’s PK and Dangal.

With the three Khans always at loggerheads with each other at the BO, one wonders if Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees which will be releasing on January 25, 2017 be able to enter the prestigious 300-crore club! Well, we sure hope it does!
