Actress Rupali Ganguly, who’s well-known for playing the role of ‘Monisha’ in the popular TV series Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, on Saturday morning, got injured as she got involved in a road rage incident in Mumbai. Rupali, shared the entire ordeal in a series of tweets.

As per a report in an online portal, to which the actress spoke to, Rupali, who was accompanied by her five-year-old son and a caretaker, was on her way to drop her son to his school at around 8 am. While Rupali tried to take care of her son in the car, she mistakenly took her foot off the brake and her car moved a little backwards accidentally touching a bike. The two men on the bike got really angry and approached Rupali. They hurled abuses at her in front of her son. Even though Rupali apologised, the angry men hit Rupali’s car’s window hard enough to shatter it completely. The pieces of the broken window hurt Rupali and she started bleeding.

A scared Rupali, immediately left the scene and took her crying and afraid son to the school. When the boy refused to go inside the school, Rupali headed to the Versova police station to file a complaint against the two men. The police acted swiftly as the two men were nabbed by them by 9:30 pm.

While it’s great that the police has nabbed the culprits, what’s disturbing is the fact that during the entire incident, even though there were many people around, only three women came forward to help Rupali. The same was highlighted by the actress in her tweets.

We at Nation Next wish Rupali a speedy recovery and salute her for her bravery and her strong will to bring the men to justice!
