As a precautionary measure, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is planning to shift residents of Mominpura to different quarantine facilities in the city.

As per a report, more than 1,000 Mominpura residents are expected to be shifted to quarantine facilities by NMC. When Nation Next got in touch with Manish Soni from NMC, he confirmed that the civic body is indeed planning to shift residents.

Last week, NMC shifted around 1,400 residents of Satranjipura to different quarantine facilities in the city as a precautionary measure. NMC is planning the same drive in Mominpura because people, who came in contact with positive patients from the area, are not coming forward on their own for testing. By quarantining people, NMC hopes to contain the spread of coronavirus in Mominpura and other localities.
