Amit Shah meets Madhuri Dixit and Ratan Tata, highlights achievements by Modi Government

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah, on Wednesday, met actress Madhuri Dixit Nene, her husband Dr Shriram Nene and industrialist Ratan Tata as part of BJP’s – Sampark for Samarthan – campaign in Maharashtra. During separate meetings with Dixit and Tata, Shah presented them with a booklet highlighting the achievements of the Modi government. Also present during both the meetings was Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Shah was also scheduled to meet legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar for the campaign but could not do so as the singer is suffering from food poisoning.

The ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ campign was launched by Modi government following its fourth anniversary on May 26. As part of the campaign, thousands of BJP members will contact as many as one lakh well-known people from different fields to spread the word about good work carried out by the government.

Shah, as part of the campaign, has earlier met cricketing legend Kapil Dev, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, Former CJI RC Lahoti, among others. As part of the campaign, Shah is also scheduled to meet sporting legend Milkha Singh on June 7.
