If reports are to be believed, 77-year-old legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been approached by Google for lending his voice for navigation on Google Maps.
Popular for his profound and baritone voice, Bachchan has been a narrator in several films and has even lent his voice to Oscar-winning documentary ‘March of the Penguins’ (2005). As per reports, Google has offered an ‘exceptionally high’ amount to bring the famous actor’s voice on board. However, the news has not been affirmed by Bachchan yet.
Mid-Day quoted a source as saying, “Amitabh Bachchan has the most influential and recognisable baritone. Hence, he is the best choice for the voice of Google Maps. He has been approached but the contract has not been signed yet.” Some reports also claim that if the deal falls in place Bachchan will record his voice from home in order to abide social distancing rules amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Well, we don’t whether Big B will accept the offer or not but he is considering it, we would just like to say ‘Lock Kar Diya Jaye!’
