Anil Deshmukh to be new Home Minister of Maharashtra

Veteran Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and MLA from Katol Anil Deshmukh from Nagpur became the new Home Minister of Maharashtra.

Veteran NCP leader and MLA from Katol Anil Deshmukh to be the new Home Minister of Maharashtra. Deshmukh, known to be close to NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, on December 30th took oath as the cabinet minister in the Maha Vikas Aghadi led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. 

(As per Nation Next sources,  the final list of portfolios has been sent to Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari by CM Uddhav Thackeray for approval.)

WATCH: Anil Deshmukh during the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections had prophesied that NCP-Shiv Sena-Congress could come together and form government in the state.
