Nagpur art admirers get a visual treat at Art Insignia 2 at Chitnavis Centre

Lalitya Foundation and Genesys Foundation recently organised a three-day exhibition – Art Insignia 2 – at Rangayan Gallery, Chitnavis Centre, Nagpur. Advocate Chaitanya Buty inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of Radhika Buty Karnik (Founder President of Genesys Foundation), Prasad Pimprikar (Founder President of Lalitya Foundation) and several other artists.

Art Insignia is organised annually to give an opportunity to budding painters, sculptors, potters, graphic artists and amateur artists to showcase their creativity. The exhibition served as a platform to 75 artists from across the country to display their artistic works. Prominent among the art forms that were displayed at the exhibition were vases, pottery items, certain mesmerising paintings, etc. Delhi-based foundation Kala Aakar, spearheaded by Jaya Arora, which has partnered with Genesys and Lalitya for their activities in north India, displayed around 35 paintings and drawings by underprivileged children during the exhibition.
