Coming October 20 and 21, Nagpurians will be in for a treat, as several artists will display their creative side at Artoholic Festival, which will take place at The Indiana Chief Café and Restaurant situated near Sai Mandir at Wardha Road, in Nagpur. The flea market, organised in association with Nation Next as the media partner, will be open to people of all age groups free of cost.
Speaking to Nation Next, city musician and owner of The Indiana Chef Piyush Pasi said, “The intention behind organising this festival is to give a platform to local budding artists to show their creative side. We will have around 16 stalls wherein budding artists will display their hand made products among other things. We have an artist named Saurabh Kashyap from Raipur who will be displaying his glass art. Apart from these artists, there will also be several musicians to entertain people throughout the two days.”
Informing us more about the event, Pasi said, “The event is going to be high on music as musicians will perform different genres of music. Members of the poetry group Anirbandh will also be performing poetry at the flea market. We will also have open mic sessions and people who want to perform can perform at these sessions. Also, at the festival, city NGO Manah Sparsh will be creating awareness about mental health.”
