
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, on Wednesday, announced that his government would build a Atal Bihari Vajpayee memorial in Mumbai as a tribute to the late former Prime Minister. Fadnavis made the announcement while paying tributes to Vajpayee at a condolence meeting in Mumbai.
Fadnavis said, “Atalji showed us the path of loving this country, doing something for it. We can pay homage to him by walking on that path. Speaking about memorial, Fadnavis added, “The government will build a memorial for him in Mumbai.” Fadnavis informed that the details of the memorial will be shared soon.

Remembering Vajpayee for his selflessness, Fadnavis said, “Vajpayee gave first priority to the country, then to the party and then to self. He not only talked but lived that ideology.”
