Bhopal youngster tows garbage with his Rs 35 lakhs sports car; challenges Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor

In a rather inspiring move by Bhopal based doctor Abhinit Gupta, Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan initiative has once again come into limelight. Gupta yesterday made headlines as he towed garbage in Bhopal by using his DC Avanti sports car worth Rs 35 lakhs. Not only did he set an example and inspire one and all, he also urged celebrities and sportspersons like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Virat Kohli, Akshay Kumar, etc to come forward and do the same with their posh cars to promote cleanliness. Soon after Gupta’s video of the same went viral, hashtag on twitter in the name ‘#70LakhKiKachraGadi’ started trending. (Though we don’t know why ‘Rs 70 lakhs’ started trending).

Gupta, who is a dermatologist, attached a garbage trolley (that reads Chalo Badhaye Ek Kadam Swachta Ki Aur) with ropes to his posh yellow car and collected waste. According to various reports, Gupta’s father gifted him the swanky car, which is customised by Dilip Chhabria.

He tweeted, “When I first took this step I didn’t expect so many people would appreciate it .. shows how much we all crave a CLEAN INDIA vroom vroom on my way to cleanliness I challenge.”

Gupta can be seen requesting people in the below video by saying, “We throw away non-biodegradable garbage, which is eventually consumed by animals. They can’t digest it.” Gupta also appealed people to segregate waste.
