BJP MLA Ram Kadam wrongly tweets about Sonali Bendre’s death; deletes it later

BJP MLA Ram Kadam tweeted a condolence message on twitter after believing some fake news about actress Sonali Bendre’s demise. However, he later deleted it.

Talk about blunders and BJP MLA Ram Kadam surely tops the list. This time, the leader tweeted a condolence message on twitter after believing some fake news about actress Sonali Bendre’s demise. However, Kadam was quick to delete it and apologise for the same with another tweet.

He first wrote on Twitter, “Popular Bollywood and Marathi diva who has been entertaining with her performances, which were highly appreciated by her fans, is no more. Sonali Bendre has passed away in America.”

However, upon realising that it was fake news, the BJP MLA on Twitter wrote, “About Sonali Bendre ji   It was rumour. Since last two days.. I pray to God for her good health & speedy recovery.”

Kadam, had recently faced criticism for his tone-deaf comment on women when he said how he would ‘get a woman abducted if someone liked her and asked for his help.’ However, Sonali Bendre is currently undergoing a treatment for cancer in New York.
