    Parliament Winter Session Day 8: BJP MP and accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case Pragya Thakur referred to Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse as a patriot. Thakur made the remarks in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday during a debate. However, her remarks in no time created uproar in the House.

    Thakur interrupted DMK MP A Raja, who was citing Godse’s statement on why he killed Gandhi, and said, “You can’t give an example of a deshbhakt.”
