The BJP on its official page on Twitter posted a video urging people to not to learn the ‘art of embarrassing the nation’ like Rahul Gandhi does very effectively. The BJP mocked Gandhi by slamming him for his recent comment on July 20, 2018 at the Parliament monsoon session during a no-confidence motion on the ‘secrecy of Rafale Deal.’ Rahul during the session had claimed that he had spoken to the President of France about the Rafale Deal and the President told Gandhi that there’s no secrecy clause.

The BJP said that on the contrary, the French government claimed that ‘there is a secrecy agreement between India and France that binds them to protect classified information which applied to Rafale Deal too.’

As Gandhi said that there was a significant rise in the deposit of black money in Swiss banks by the Indians, the BJP wrote, “This is not the only case when he horrendously embarrassed the entire nation.” The BJP challenged Gandhi’s statement when the latter said, “During Modi ji’s regime, in 2016-17, the deposits of Indians in the Swiss bank has gone up to 50%!!”

The BJP claimed that the Swiss government had denied any such rise in the deposit of Swiss money. They said, “According to the official figures, deposits by Indians in Swiss banks haven’t increased by 50% but have actually reduced by 80% from 2014 and 34.5% from 2016 to 2017.”

They also wrote, “Rahul Gandhi routinely embarrasses himself, his party and the nation internationally due to his uninformed petty politics!”
