Bole Petrol Pump manager robbed of Rs 2.15 lakh, one arrested

Sachin P Chanchani, the manager of Bole Petrol Pump situated near MHADA complex, Dharampeth, was robbed of Rs 2.15 lakh by two men on Wednesday night.

→ Sachin P Chanchani, the manager of Bole Petrol Pump situated near MHADA complex, Dharampeth, Nagpur, was robbed of Rs 2.15 lakh by two men on Wednesday night. The incident took place when Chanchani, who’s the relative of the petrol pump owner, was returning to his residence in Giripeth from the pump after having done the daily collection.

→ While on his way to his home on his two-wheeler, Chanchani was pushed and hit by one of the two men. The man snatched the bag full of money from Chanchani and fled away with the other man who was waiting on a two-wheeler for him.

→ During the incident, the cell-phone of one of the accused fell on the spot. Sitabuldi police recovered the phone and with the help of it traced Chandan Singh Patel, one of the accused, on Thursday. 

→ Chandan, who has been arrested, has reportedly several cases of robbery against him. The police are now searching for another man involved in the crime.
