Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule not to contest Maha Assembly polls; fields wife from Kamptee instead

    Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra and Guardian Minister from Nagpur Chandrashekhar Bawankule won’t be contesting Maharashtra Assembly elections this year. Nation Next spoke to his close aid who confirmed the same. Bawankule fielded his wife Jyoti from Kamptee constituency on BJP ticket. Jyoti filed her nomination papers today afternoon but per updates reports, the party hasn’t approved Jyoti’s candidature from Kamptee; Anil Nidan’s name seems to have been approved instead.
