Here’s how you can check your CBSE class 12 results, board offers tele-counselling to overcome post results anxiety

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared Class 12th examination results today. The CBSE also announced a tele-counselling service for students to overcome post results anxiety. This helpline can be accessed by dialing 1800 11 8004 between 8 am and 10 pm all days from anywhere in the country. The counselling will begin from 26th May and continue till 9 June. Ahead of the announcement, Education Secretary Anil Swarup on his twitter shared, “These exams are not the end of the world. Pat yourself on the back if you have done well. Any perceived failure should make you even more determined to succeed in future.” Here’s how you can check your results.

CBSE results online

Students can check their results on the official websites of the board –, and Here’s the procedure to check your results on the same:

Check the section of ‘Recent Announcements’

Click on CBSE Class 12th Result 2018 option

Enter the necessary details required and press submit

Download your results

Also, schools would automatically get their entire school’s class 12th results on the email id that is registered with the board.

Results on smartphones

The Board has also planned to provide class 12 mark sheets in a ‘DigiLocker’ available on the website The DigiLocker’s account details of students will be sent to the respective students through SMS on their registered mobile numbers.

Students or parents can also access DigiLocker on smartphones with Android and iOS platforms. Apart from this, students can also view their results on ‘UMANG’ mobile application, which is available for android, iOS, and even windows based smart phones.

Students can receive their results via SMS by: cbse12 <rollno> <sch no> <center no> and send it on mobile number 7738299899.

Over 11 lakh students had registered for the class 12 examinations, which were held in March-April 2018.
