Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ jibe against Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not gone down well with security guards association, which has approached Mumbai Police to file a case against Gandhi.

As per reports, the Maharashtra Rajya Suraksha Rakshak Union has submitted an application to Bandra-Kurla Complex police station claiming that Gandhi’s ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ remark was an insult to them. The association has claimed that during his rally at MMRDA grounds in Mumbai earlier this month, Gandhi said, ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai.’

Sandeep Ghuge, the President of Maharashtra Rajya Suraksha Rakshak Union, told PTI that the police should file a complaint against Gandhi to stop such kind of insulting slogans against security guards.
