Nagpur: Congress leader Atul Londhe files police complaint against Arnab Goswami

A complaint was filed against journalist and Republic TV Founder Arnab Goswami on Wednesday (April 22) at Nandanvan Police Station in Nagpur by Congress party spokesperson Atul Londhe.

The complaint has been filed against Goswami over his remarks on Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday (April 21) during a TV debate on Palghar mob lynching case. Atul Londhe in a letter addressed to the police demanding strict action against Goswami and other stakeholders of Republic TV.

Goswami, during the debate, lashed out at Sonia Gandhi for keeping mum over the lynching of two Sadhus in Palghar a few days back. Goswami said, “Would Sonia Gandhi have been quiet if Muslim preachers or Christian saints had been killed instead of Hindu sants?”

Goswami added, “She’s quiet today, but I think she feels happy that Hindu sants were killed in a state where Congress has a stake in the government. She will send a report to Italy about the fact that she is getting Hindu sants killed in Maharashtra.”
