Arjun Rampal, who will soon be seen playing gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli in Bollywood movie Daddy, has landed in a controversy. A complaint was filed against the actor for allegedly assaulting a man at a five-star-hotel in Connaught Place, New Delhi on Saturday.

Arjun was in Delhi to play a DJ at the five-star-hotel. While he was at the console, a photographer was continuously trying to click his pictures. Miffed with the continuous flashes, Rampal then reportedly snatched his camera and threw the flashgun on the dance floor, hurting a man named Shobhit who suffered a head injury. Shobhit, a resident of Shalimar Bagh in North West Delhi, filed a complaint with the Connaught Place Police Station against Rampal on Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, Arjun today has denied any such incident taking place and called it fake news as he tweeted:

‘Woke up to be flooded by messages of assaulting a fan?Man!!Where do people make this news up from? Not assaulted anyone #untrue #fakenews
