Congress leader and Member of Parliament Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday while addressing reporters in Guna said that the people in Madhya Pradesh are fed up with the BJP. He blamed the BJP for the ‘lawlessness’ prevailing in MP. He also said that after exploring the state, he realised that people have made up their minds to change the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in the upcoming elections in November.

Alpesh Thakor, Congress MLA from Gujarat recommended that the Congress, which hasn’t been in power in MP since 2003, should project Scindia as its chief ministerial candidate.

When asked about Alpesh Thakor’s proposal of making him the cm candidate, Scindia quipped that he’s a just an activist of the Congress party, who doesn’t run after a position. Scindia also said that he tries his best to shoulder the responsibility assigned to him.
