Cops raid Heaven salon in Sadar, arrest two for running a sex racket

Sadar Police on Tuesday registered a case against two men for running a sex racket at Heaven Salon and Spa at Residency Road, Sadar in Nagpur. The police acted on a complaint by NPC Sanjay Prabhudas Pande from the Social Security Wing of the Nagpur Crime Branch.

On conducting the raid, the police found that Ajay Murlidhar Sharma (32) and Rahul Madanlal Gupta (39), had taken the salon on rent, from where they would run the racket. The men employed three girls for providing massages to customers, however, the girls were later pushed into the flesh trade at the salon by luring them with more money.

Sadar Police has registered the case against the two men under sections 370 and 34 of the IPC and sections 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
