Delhi: Doctor kills himself, blames Aam Admi Party MLA in suicide note

A 52-year-old doctor from Delhi committed suicide on Saturday and blamed Aam Admi Party MLA Prakash Jarwal and his associate Kapil Nagar in a suicide note.

A 52-year-old doctor from Delhi committed suicide on Saturday and blamed Aam Admi Party MLA Prakash Jarwal and his associate Kapil Nagar in a suicide note. The Ayurvedi doctor Rajender Singh, who was a resident of Durga Vihar, hung himself at his resident.

In the two-page suicide note, Singh accused Jarwal and Nagar of extortion and threatening to not allow Singh to conduct his water tanker business if he refused to pay. Apart from the suicide note, the police have also recovered a personal diary in which, Singh wrote that he had rented his tankers to the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and Jarwal had demanded extortion money for it.

The diary also mentions that, when the victim refused to pay, Jarwal had the tankers removed from DJB service. As per the diary, Singh was being harassed since the last five year and he had given Rs 50 lakh till date to keep his tankers listed with DJB.

The police have booked Jarwal and Nagar under relevant sections and the case is being investigated.
