Depressed man hangs self near Rani Jhansi Square in Nagpur

    A 35-year-old man Ratnarakshik Tikaram Tirpude, a resident of Girola Village in Bhandara district, committed suicide on Saturday by hanging himself near Rani Jhansi Square in Nagpur. Sitabuldi police was informed about the incident on Saturday morning by some citizens, who saw Tirpude hanging in the parking area near Vidarbha Hindi Sahitya Sangh.

    Sitabuldi Police told Nation Next that Tirpude had been depressed for the last few months and was also taking medication for the same. He had come to Nagpur on July 19 for the treatment of his daughter at a city hospital. Police also informed that Tirpude was jobless and the expense of treatment of his daughter was being taken care of by his relatives.
