Creative minds gathered together to share innovative design ideas at ‘Design Perspective’ organised by FOAID (Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing) in association with Nation Next as the media partner on February 23 at Hotel Radisson Blu in Nagpur. Design Perspective, which brought architects and interior designers under one roof, was supported by Nagpur Regional Chapter of IIID (Institute of Indian Interior Designers).

Before the start of the event, those present at the event observed 30 seconds of silence to pay tributes to the jawans, who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack on February 14. As the event started, renowned Delhi architect Akshat Bhatt took to the stage to address the audience.

Bhatt, who heads the architectural firm Architecture Discipline, shared his experiences while working on different projects, particularly with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in New Delhi. Bhatt, also compared the designs of buildings in UK and in India through pictures and spoke as to how India can achieve new heights in the field of designing and architecture.

Apart from Bhatt, well-known architects from Nagpur: Virendra Khare, Rajendra Dongre, Anurag Pashine and his wife Pallavi, Mahesh Mokha and Ashfaque Ahmed also shared their ideas on the topic – Design Creates Happiness – during the event.
