Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, on Tuesday, slammed the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Government for ‘ineffective handling’ of the COVID019 crisis in Maharashtra.
Fadnavis along with other BJP leaders met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and submitted a memorandum listing various demands. The delegation of BJP leaders , which included former CM Fadnavis, MLAs Ashish Shelar and Atul Bhatkhalkar, MPs Gopal Shetty and Manoj Kotak and ex-legislator Vinod Tawde, warned of a statewide agitation against the MVA government.
Fadnavis said, “The state government has proved completely wanting at handling the coronavirus crisis, which has led to total collapse of the health system. There is a serious question mark whether the administration even exists in the state.”
