Success tastes sweeter when it’s celebrated with close ones. And, Dr Tejal Vaidya’s success party was no exception. Nagpur based businessman Praful Vaidya along with wife Varsha recently threw a grand party at Hotel Centre Point, Nagpur, for their daughter Tejal after she bagged a gold medal and became an MD in obstetrics and gynecology.

The party brought the family’s near and dear ones under one roof to rejoice and celebrate the success with full spirits. Among the close relatives, was former Indian cricketer Prashant Vaidya, who was seen chilling with his wife Chanchal, who looked resplendent in white. Along with live music and cocktails, guests were busy seen relishing the delicious spreads, which consisted of several continental dishes and plenty of desserts that satiated their sweet tooth.

An elated elder brother Adwait, who couldn’t contain his happiness, told Nation Next, “Tejal is an extremely sincere and dedicated girl. I’m so happy that all her hard work got paid off, that too so beautifully. She bagged a gold medal! I feel so proud of my sister.”

When we spoke to Praful Vaidya, an evidently proud father said, “I’m extremely proud of Tejal! Every year she gives us a reason to celebrate. I’m so happy for her. May God bless her. I hope she climbs the ladder of success at every step of life.”

Speaking about the success party and the accolades herself, Dr Tejal said, “I had a tough time at Acharya Vinobha Bhave Hospital in Wardha. Since the first day itself, I’d decided to bag a gold medal and fortunately, I did. More than the praises and achievements, what made me happier was the fact that now I could spend time with my family. The life of a medical student is extremely tough. So much so, that as a medical student, I could barely visit my parents in Nagpur. After I completed my MD, it was almost like a homecoming after three years, despite the proximity between Nagpur and Wardha. I feel so fortunate to have such encouraging and loving parents, because of whom I could sail through hardships and achieve something. Nothing makes me happier than to see my family feel proud because of me. That’s my real achievement.”
